I get asked this question a lot, especially with all that is going on with relationships and in the tabloids. "Why do men cheat?" that's the question. My answer you ask? MOST MEN - not all men simply like their women like they like their cars. I know you probably heard of it before, but it has much truth to it. Well, think about it. How long does a man keep his car versus a woman? The answer. Men normally only like to keep their cars on average for two years before they get bored with it. Women on the other hand, like to pay their car off, save up the extra money, sell the old car and then get a new one with that new money. Women think in future, while men think in present when it comes to things like that. To men, it's just a car - to women, it's an investment.
Also, most men like more than one car. They like more than one type of car. If a woman likes a Lexus, then she likes a Lexus or another car in its class. If a man likes a Lexus, he may also like a 1970's Oldsmobile, a Phantom, a sports car, and an Escalade. He may also have them all at one time in his garage ready to be driven when he arrives with the key. Just because he drives one car more than the other, it doesn't mean that he only likes that one type of car.
Men normally just like the car that has the most value to them. While the sports car may look better and be technically worth more, the 1970's Oldsmobile may have more sentimental value to him. It's a classic, it was given to him by someone special or he may have been through a lot with it and has invested so much time into it that he can't give it up for the new plastic sports ride.
So ladies, its not you - its just that trying to convince a man to stay with one woman is like trying to get him to stay committed to one color, one drive, one car. This man won't change because you can't convince him. The only way he will ever find that one car is if he doesn't have options (broke, no money, ugly, etc.) or if he finds an emotional attachment with the car.
So how do you get your man to find an emotional attachment? Well, I'll write about that later - stick around.
