Dear Doctor Lover,

I'm in love with a girl who is my best friend. She says that she feels so lucky to share her life with someone as wonderful as me. She cares for me, she understands me well, I also want to share my life with her, I cant stop thinking about her. Once I proposed to her but she didnt give any reply, then I stopped messaging her but she was messaging me daily. As I cant see her sad I too started talking to her. What should I do now? Does she love me?  Should I be only a friend?

I don't have the answer on whether she loves you or not, but its a 50/50 chance that she does. From what you wrote, it seems that she may just need some time to figure out what she wants and whom she wants to be with or where she wants to be in life. Don't take offense to it. It may not be something that you have done and there may be nothing that you can do to fix it. Just be patience and wait for her to feel comfortable enough to come back and let you know what is going on with her. If you don't want to be patient, then feel free to move on.
