I heard the sound of Gabrielle’s horn
and it woke me from a sleep,
it cascaded my body with revelations of mind
till alas I could not but weep.
Again the horn spoke
in my mind’s eye
and it woke me from a dream,
and again my eyes misted
so sweet the sound
of the cacophony my ears careened.
To his instrument divine
he gave life yet again
’twas the last I knew it would blow,
and my body gave up the ghost of my soul
for it was time for me to go.
’Twas the greatest summons
of the souls of man
to God’s army which in heaven did wait,
and I was given my weapons of love and compassion
as I passed the pearly gates.
Across still waters of peace I traveled
and through fields of tranquility,
and I feared no evil for the host of God
was waiting there for me.
As I joined their numbers
in silent prayer
they gave consent with sweetest grace,
and amongst the army of peace and love
I proudly took my place.
Together we shall march
on a day in the future
when revelation does come to pass,
under the Almighty banner
for it is He who was first
and He who shall be last.
When comes that day
again shall blow Gabriel
a final note to be heard by all,
and on that day of days
God’s army shall triumph
and Evil shall know its final fall.
