Hey my boyfriend and me just broke up because I moved to Florida. Our relationship was going to be long distance for a couple of months. We've been together for 10 months and the first couple days everything went fine then he went to a party and I found out he met a girl at the party. I confronted him about it and he broke up with me for her. The girl is a pot head and she drinks all the time. He always said he loves me and wont leave me for another girl. He down graded and I really love him. What should I do? please help me

There isn't much that you can do to please him. If he stated that he is leaving you for another woman, that's that. I think the decision isn't yours to make any further. He gave up on you and you need to give yourself a little more respect and leave a guy like that alone and move on. You should rather be alone than be with someone like that.

Though he said he loved you, I'm sure he's saying it to her now. To some Love is just a word. In addition, long distant relationships hardly work out, especially when one person has given up. Holding a strong committed relationship together in close distance is complicated enough and once you add the long distance, you have yourself a gamble that isn't looking like a sure win.

You may just want to let go of your loses and move on from the situation. Apparently he isn't the guy that you thought he was if he would do something like this to you and to the relationship.
