I don't know whether I'm in love with my ex or not. I've been thinking about him almost nonstop for about 3 or 4 months now. He makes me smile, but I feel sad when he leaves and I can't talk to him. Do I miss him or do I just need to move on?

I do believe that you miss him, but that is natural for someone that you love. I don't know much about your situation based on your question. However, what you may either need to do is tell him how you feel or just realize that it's not going to happen and move on. My suggestion isn't to avoid him, but it's to become stronger within yourself and realize that you still need to live and move forward. You'll always have a love and attraction to your ex. If you aren't strong enough to be his friend, then you need to let him go in every aspect of your life. Sometimes the only way to get over someone is to get him or her out of your life. Just as someone trying to get over alcohol addiction, you can't keep placing yourself around the temptation. If you aren't strong enough, then its time to push him away.
