Am I in Love / What is Love

So the big question is "am I in love." I get asked this question a lot. The clear answer is that love is something that you will feel many times. It's easy to come by and most people will know when it comes. Nonetheless, while most people might think that they may only fall in love once, they never understand what love truly is. Love is very simple. It's just a feeling of emotion that lets you know that you would give your life for that person or thing. If you ever find yourself in the position that you feel you will give your life for something or someone, then you have found the greatest feeling of all (Love.)

There you have it, the answer is fairly simple if you think about it that way. For instance, being a married father, I would easily give my life for my wife and son. I may also give it for some persons throughout the world if I deem them important to me or to what I believe in. From a religious perspective, God gave his son Jesus because he loved the world and Jesus gave his life because he loved the world.

If you find yourself in the situation to ask the question, "am I in love," then you need to ask yourself are your feelings for that person or thing strong enough to die for.
